6. Payment Details
A. User-Entered Payment Details
Phottam.ai allows its users to voluntarily enter their own payment-related information, including bank account details, UPI IDs, and scannable QR codes, which will be automatically populated in invoices or quotations generated through the platform. Users may choose to provide this information based on their business requirements, and are under no obligation to do so. The inclusion of payment details is fully optional, and users retain the ability to opt out of displaying such information in their business templates at any time. The banking details captured are encrypted and stored within Phottam.ai.
B. No Payment Processing by Phottam
Phottam.ai is not a payment gateway and does not process, manage, or mediate any financial transactions between the studio and their clients. All payments are handled outside the platform and remain the sole responsibility of the studio or service provider.
C. Accuracy & Liability
Users are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and validity of any payment-related information they provide on Phottam.ai, including bank account numbers, UPI IDs, and QR codes. Phottam.ai shall not be held liable for any issues arising from incorrect or unauthorized financial data entered by users. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Delayed or failed payments
- Incorrect or incomplete remittances
- Misdirected transfers resulting from inaccurate or outdated information
Additionally, it is the user's responsibility to ensure that any individual handling or entering financial information on their behalf is:
- Authorized to do so
- Informed of the sensitive nature of the information being managed
Phottam.ai does not validate or verify user-provided financial details and assumes no responsibility for outcomes resulting from their use.
D. Data Visibility
Payment information entered by users is only used for the purpose of displaying on invoices and digital documents generated via Phottam.ai and is not shared with or accessed by any third parties without user consent.
E. Security Assurance
While Phottam.ai takes all reasonable steps to ensure the secure handling and display of payment-related information, it does not accept responsibility for any misuse or fraudulent transactions arising outside the platform.
7. User Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access & Update: View and modify your personal details
- Deletion Requests: Request removal of personal data (except where legally required)
- Data Portability: Obtain a copy of your stored information
- Opt-Out Options: Control cookies and marketing preferences

8. Data Retention
We retain user-uploaded content for up to a grace period of 30-180 days (based on the selected subscription plan) in our Memory Box after a user initiates deletion. This grace period allows users to restore accidentally deleted files or finalize permanent deletion. After the grace period, users can permanently remove content, which will be irretrievable. Detailed view of the data retention is provided in Terms & Conditions of Phottam. We do not share this content with third parties unless required by law or outlined in this Policy.
9. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies to enhance platform functionality:

10. Special Considerations for Photographers & Clients
A. Photographers
- Uploaded media remains your intellectual property
- Clients can only access photos shared with them
- You control event privacy settings and client access
B. Clients
- Your data is used solely for event-related interactions
- You can request deletion of your profile and associated media
- Event organizers (Photographers) determine access to event media
11. International Data Transfers
Your personal information may be transferred and processed outside your country, including to countries with different data protection laws. Phottam.ai ensures all transfers comply with relevant data protection laws and use secure data transfer mechanisms.
12. Policy Updates & Notifications
- This policy may be updated periodically
- Users will be notified via email or platform announcements
- Continued use of the platform constitutes agreement to revised policies
